Engine-side symptoms
No-start, surging, choke-only running, fuel leaks, and stalling are engine complaints. Old fuel and carburetor restrictions are common after storage, but spark, air flow, oil level, and compression also matter.
- Fuel condition and carburetor flow
- Spark plug and air filter
- Oil level and visible leaks
Water-flow and pump symptoms
Low pressure, pulsing, leaks, or no water flow should be described separately from how the engine runs. Water supply, hose condition, tips, inlet screens, and pump components can affect the result.
- Adequate water supply
- Hose, wand, and spray tip
- Visible pump leaks or unusual noise
What to bring
Bring the pressure washer, hose, wand, and spray tips when pressure or flow is part of the complaint. That allows the complete setup to be checked instead of testing only the engine.
